Baptisms are an outward symbol of an inward reality, acting as a public display of your decision to follow Jesus. Like a marriage ring represents a commitment to your spouse for life, or a sports jersey that we wear indicating which team we belong to, baptism is an outward declaration of our commitment to Jesus.

Get ready for an unforgettable youth event designed to bring students together for a full weekend of fun, faith, and connection.

Experience epic team-based and church-wide games, engaging guest speakers, and powerful guest-led worship that will challenge and inspire you. Meals are included in the registration cost, and you’ll have the chance to connect with youth groups from across the city, build new friendships, and grow together. Plus, explore sponsorships from local colleges and learn about opportunities beyond high school.

This year’s theme is The Joy of the Lord. During Encounter Weekend, we’ll spend intentional time growing in our understanding and experience of God’s joy—not just in moments of celebration, but through hardship, struggle, and everyday life. We’ll explore how joy is found through worship, prayer, and authentic community, and how embracing who we are in Christ and responding to His call leads to lasting joy. Inspired by Psalm 100, we’ll gather to worship with gladness, give thanks, and celebrate the goodness and faithfulness of God together.
